The SEBI issued a circular, addressing amendments to the disclosure requirements for Foreign Portfolio Investors (FPIs). - In addition to the criteria outlined in the previous circular, an FPI with over 50% of its Indian equity Assets Under Management (AUM) within a corporate group is exempt from additional disclosure requirements subject to certain conditions. - Custodians and depositories are tasked with tracking the utilization of the 3% limit for apex companies without identified promoters on a daily basis.
