2001 (9) TMI 631 - HC - Customs

The petitioner sought injunction against encashment of bank guarantee for quota entitlement under FCFS. Court dismissed writ petition due to petitioner's changing reasons for invoking "Force Majeure clause." Court found reliance on letter and Supreme Court judgment to be uncalled for. Writ petition dismissed with no costs imposed.
