2009 (3) TMI 986 - HC - Central ExciseIntermediate products - capital goods - destruction of inputs - Held that - it is not disputed that the fire and consequent destroying of the inputs used in the intermediate products and the capital goods were accidental - appeal dismissed - decided against Revenue.
The Bombay High Court dismissed the appeal filed by the Revenue as the Tribunal found that the fire destroying inputs was accidental. The liability is &8377; 70,000. No question of law is involved.
