Amendment of section 23C.
113. In the Central Excise Act, in section 23C, in sub-section (3), for the words “two thousand and five hundred rupees”, the words “ten thousand rupees” shall be substituted.
Notes on Clauses:
Clause 113 of the Bill seeks to amend sub-section (3) of section 23C of the Central Excise Act so as to enhance the application fee to rupees ten thousand.
