Section 11 - Insertion of new section 23A - Power of Authority to issue directions - Aadhaar And Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019

Insertion of new section 23A. 11. After section 23 of the principal Act, the following section shall be inserted, namely:- Power of Authority to issue directions. 23A. (1) The Authority may for the discharge of its functions under this Act, or any rules or regulations made thereunder, by order, issue such directions from time to time to any entity in the Aadhaar ecosystem, as it may consider necessary. (2) Every direction issued under sub-section (1) shall be complied with by the entity in the Aadhaar ecosystem to whom such direction is issued. .
