2. Definitions .- (1) In these rules, unless context otherwise requires, - (a) Act means the Competition Act, 2002 (12 of 2003) ; (b) Annual Report means the annual report prepared by the Commission under sub-section (2) of section 53 of the Act; (c) Appellate Tribunal means the Competition Appellate Tribunal established under sub-section (1) of section 53A of the Act; (d) Commission means the Competition Commission of India established under sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Act; (e) Year means the financial year beginning on 1st April and ending on 31st March of the year immediately following. (2) Words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the same meanings assigned to them in the Act.
