Article 2 - Insertion of new Article 2-A - Constitution (35th Amendment) Act, 1974

Insertion of new Article 2-A . 2. After Article 2 of the Constitution, the following article shall be inserted , namely: Sikkim to be associated with the Union. 2-A. Sikkim, which comprises the territories specified in the Tenth Schedule, shall be associated with the Union on the terms and conditions set out in that Schedule. . ****************** NOTES:- 1. Shall come into force, w.e.f. 1st day of March, 1975 vide G.S.R. 61(E), dated 28-2-1975.
