MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Legislative Department) New Delhi, dated the 12th September, 2003/Bhadra 21, 1925 (Saka) The following Act of Parliament received the assent of the President on the 11th September, 2003, and is hereby published for general information :- THE ELECTION AND OTHER RELATED LAWS (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2003 No 46 OF 2003 [11th September, 2003] An Act further to amend the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the Companies Act, 1956 and the Income-tax Act, 1961. BE it enacted by Parliament in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title. This Act may be called the Election and Other Related Laws (Amendment) Act, 2003.
