1970 (12) TMI 98 - SUPREME COURTExtract: .......vidence indicate that the appellant was insane within the meaning of Section 84, I.P.C. 18. We accordingly allow the appeal and acquit the appellant of the offence under Section 435, I.P.C, because at the time of the incident he was a person of unsound mind within the meaning Section 84 of the Indian Penal Code. His bail bond shall stand cancelled.
