Govt Imposes Anti-Dumping Duty on Glufosinate Imports from China to Protect Domestic Chemical Industry Under Rule 23

The GoI imposed anti-dumping duty on 'Glufosinate and its salt' imported from China PR following DGTR's recommendations. The investigation concluded that subject goods were exported below normal value, causing material injury to domestic industry. An anti-dumping duty of USD 2,998 per MT was levied for five years on imports from China PR, applicable to any producer or exporter, with the duty payable in Indian currency and subject to exchange rate variations as per customs regulations.
