Amendment in the export policy for export of fish hide and skins PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 54 (RE-2001)/1997-2002 Dated 05/12/2001 In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001), and as amended from time to time, the following amendments may be made in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 1997-2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998 ) and as amended from time to time:- 2. The entries against Code Nos. 4101,4102 and 4103 under the column 4 i.e. "Nature of restriction" in the Table B of the Schedule 2 relating to export of "Hides and Skin namely" in so far as it pertains to item (ii) in Column 2 of the aforesaid Code numbers i.e. pertaining to " Fish Hides and Skins", is amended to read as under:- "The exporters shall be required to register the export contracts indicating the price, quantity etc. with the Council for Leather Exports/ or MPEDA in case of item no.
