ESTATE, NEW DELHI-110002 F. 1(516)/2010-11/CTT/EDP/2219-63 Dated 30/09/13 CIRCULAR In connection to the department Notifications of even numbers dated 05/07/2013, 11/07/2013, 20/09/2013, wherein names of 24 banks were notified as appropriate Government Treasuries for the purpose of all Value Added Tax dues in relation to a dealer who are registered or liable to be registered under the Act and contractees (TAN holders). It has been observed that inspite of introduction of new module for receiving the offline payments and online payments through the challans filled up on the department's website (htttp: //www.dvat.gov.in), some banks are still receiving the VAT dues through their respective bank website or other modes. Now, therefore, all the notified banks are hereby directed to receive VAT dues only through the portal of Department of Trade and Taxes, henceforth: Ashish Mohan Joint Commissioner (Collection) To, All 24 notified banks in Delhi.
