Dissolution of the Development Council of Textile Industry - Indian Laws - F. No. 1(1)/2005-IP - S.O. 261(E)Extract MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion) ORDER New Delhi, the 2nd February, 2010 S.O. 261(E). -In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 8 of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), the Central Government, on being satisfied that the Development Council for Textile Industries should cease to continue in being and it is in the public interest so to do, hereby dissolves, with effect from the date of publication of this order, the Development Council for Textile Industry, constituted vide notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion), number S.O. 532(E), dated the 23rd February, 2009.
