Attention of the Importers/Exporters, Custom Brokers, Custodians, Trade and other stake holders is invited to the Public Notice No.05/2017 dated 30.01.2017, issued by the Chief Commissioners Office, Chennai in respect of jurisdiction of re-organised formations in Chennai Customs Zone. Consequent to that an allocation of work in respect of SEZ related issues following the amendment of SEZ Rules, 2006 (Rule 47(5) and Rule 79) is made specifying the jurisdiction to handle SEZ related work in respect of both import and export of cargo through Chennai Airport and the Bonded warehouses attached thereto.
