Kind attention of the Exporters, Customs Brokers, General Trade and all other stakeholders working under the jurisdiction of Custom House, Visakhapatnam is invited to the launch of the ICETAB application, an Android- based mobile application introduced by the Directorate General of Systems and Data Management, Central Board of Indirect Taxes Customs (CBIC), as per ICES Advisory No. 34/2025 dated 19.06.2025 to facilitate paperless cargo examination and customs clearance process in exports. This application aims to improve the efficiency, transparency and speed of export examination and clearances. 2. The ICETAB provides the examining officers mobile access to the ICES application in the customs cargo sheds and help them submit their examination report in ICES immediately on completion of the examination. The tablet device has facilities like preview of photos taken, viewing the Shipping Bill details, viewing of supporting documents uploaded in e-sanchit, viewing RMS instructions and examination order which would make the work of examining officer easy. 3.
