NOTIFICATION NO. 21/99-CE(NT), DATED 28/02/1999 - Modvat NOTIFICATION NO. 18/2000-CE(N.T.) DATED 01/03/2000 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/99-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 28th February, 1999, G.S.R.182(E), dated the 28th February, 1999, namely:- (1) in paragraph 1,- i. in clause (c)- a. in sub-clause (ii), for the words, figures and signs ""sub-heading Nos.5402.20, 5402.32, 5402.42, 5402.43, 5402.52 and 5,102.62"" the following words, figures and signs shall be substituted, namely:- ""sub-heading Nos. 5402.20, 5402.32, 5402.42, 5402.43, 5402.52, 5402.62, 8702.10, 8703.90, 8706.21 and 8706.39;"" ii. in paragraph 2, in clause (a) for the words ""First Schedule"" the following words shall be substituted, namely:- ""First Schedule and Second Schedule"" (Prashant Kumar Sinha) Under Secretary to the Government of India F.No. 351/1/2000-TRU Footnote : The principal notification was published vide No. GSR 182(E),dated the 28th February, 1999 and was last amended by the notification No.10/2000-Central Excise (N.T.) published vide no.
