MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 28 th August, 2012 S.O. 1981(E) - Whereas, M/s. Span Ventures Private Limited had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at KPM Nagar, Rathinam Software Park, Village Kurichi, Eachanari, District Coimbatore in the State of Tamil Nadu; And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act , read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006 , had notified an area of 10.49 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 1118 (E), dated 10th July, 2007; And, whereas, M/s. Span Ventures Private Limited had proposed for deletion of 1.38 hectares and addition of 4.36 hectares in above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 27th February, 2009; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by first proviso to rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules , 2006 , the Central Government hereby denotifies the area of 1.38 hectares and notifies additional area of 4.36 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 13.47 hectares, comprising the survey numbers and the area given below in the table, namely : TABLE FOR DELETION Sl.
