MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 1st August, 2014 S.O. 1978(E):- In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (iia) of sub-section (h) of Section 2 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) , the Central Government hereby declares onshore rupee bonds issued by multilateral institutions like the Asian Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation as securities within the meaning of sub-section (h) of Section 2 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956.
