Amendment in the Secuirites and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992, in rule 4. - G.S.R. 809(E) - SEBI

MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th December, 2013 G.S.R. 809(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 of Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) , the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Secuirites and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992 , namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Secuirites and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Amendment Rules, 2013. (2) They shall be given retroactive effect as may be necessary pursuant to relevant Government orders. 2. In the Secuirites and Exchange Board of India (Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairman and Members) Rules, 1992 , in Rule 4, Sub-rule (1), for clause (b) , the following clause shall be substituted, namely :- (b) a consolidated salary of Rs. 4.50 lakh per month and Rs. 3.75 lakh per month respectively, without house and car, as amended from time to time through orders of Department of Expenditure, Government of India .
