MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) (CAPITAL MARKET DIVISION) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd November, 2004 S.O. 1314(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (l) of the Section 29 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992) the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Debenture Trustees) Rules, 1993, namely:- l. (l) These rules may be called the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Debenture Trustee) (Amendment) Rules, 2004. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Debenture Trustee) Rules, 1993, in clause (e) of rule 2, after the words a body corporate , the words or any private placement of debentures made by a listed company, which are proposed to be listed shall be inserted.
