In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Constitution (Forty-fourth Amendment) Act,1978, the Central Government hereby appoints the date immediately following the date on which this notification is published in the Official Gazette, as the date on which section 24 and 43 of the said Act shall come into force.
