Amendment to Notification No. 53/91-C.E. [Chapter 52] Notification No. 83/91-C.E. Dated 19-8-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 53/91-Central Excises, dated the 25th July, 1991 namely : In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) after S. No. 42 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "42A. 5406.12 Polypropylene monofilament in respect of which no credit of duty paid on the inputs used in their manufacture has been taken under Rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. Nil". (ii) after S. No. 50 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "50A. 5406.11 Monofilament of high-density polye-thylene in respect of which no credit of duty paid on the inputs used in their manufacture has been taken under Rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944. Nil".
