Amendments to Notification No. 121/89-C.E. [Chapter 85] Notification No. 72/91-C.E. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 121/89-Central Excises, dated the 27th April, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - 1. against Sl. No. 1, in column (3), - (i) against item (a), in column (4), for the entry "Rs. 150 per tube", the entry "Rs. 200 per tube" shall be substituted; (ii) against item (c), in column (4), for the entry "Rs. 150 per tube", the entry "Rs. 300 per tube" shall be substituted. 2. after Sl. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and the entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "2. 8540.11 Colour Cathode-Ray television picture tubes (a) of screen size not exceeding 36 centimetres Rs. 1500 per tube (b) of screen size exceeding 36 centimetres Rs. 1750 per tube".
