Amendments to Notification Nos. 81/75-C.E., 43/88-C.E. & 21/90-C.E. - 34/91 - Central Excise - TariffExtract Amendments to Notification Nos. 81/75-C.E., 43/88-C.E. 21/90-C.E. Notification No. 34/91-C.E. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 81/75-Central Excises, dated the 22nd March, 1975. In the said notification, - (a) in the opening paragraph, for the words "sulphuric acid", the words "sulphuric acid and oleum" shall be substituted; (b) in the proviso, in items (i) and (ii), for the words "sulphuric acid", the words "sulphuric acid and oleum" shall be substituted. 2. 43/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988. In the Annexure to the said notification, after Sl. No. 23 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "24. Monomethyl acetoacetamide 25. Diethyl acetoacetamide 26. Sodium salt of trichloro pyredinol 27. Sodium dimethyl dithiocarbonate 28. D V Ester 29. D V Acid 30. D V Acidchloride 31. O, O diethyl thio phosphorylchloride 32. Di sodium thiodiphenol 33. Sodium salt of paranitrophenol 34. Parachlorobenzyl cyanide 35. Dimethyl phosphorochloridothioate 36. Paracumidine 37. Dimethylamine 38. Chloroacetyl chloride 39. Diethylchloroacetanilide 40. Chloromethylbutyl ether 41. Monomethylchloro acetoacetamide.". 3. 21/90-Central Excises, dated the 20th March, 1990. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 2, in column 2, for the entry, the entry "2808.10 or 2809.00", shall be substituted.
