Amends Notification No. 172/87-C.E. Notification No. 200/87-C.E. Dated 3-9-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 172/87-Central Excises, dated the 18th June, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, for the words and figures "Sodium Hypochlorite Dye carriers, softening agents and sizing agents, falling within Chapter 26 or 32 or 38", the words and figures "finishing agents, dye carriers to accelerate the dyeing or fixing of dye-stuffs and other products and preparations, of a kind used in the textile industry, falling under Heading No. 38.09" shall be substituted".
