Amends Notification No. 190/87-C.E. Notification No. 196/87-C.E. Dated 27-8-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 190/87-Central Excises, dated the 4th August, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "1st day of September, 1987" the figures, letters and words "1st day of October, 1987" shall be substituted.
