Closure of Salt factory - 14/87 - Central Excise - Tariff

Closure of Salt factory Notification No. 14/87-C.E. Dated 30-1-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 109 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that on the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, the salt works, other than the salt works bearing Licence No. 43 covering an Area of 14.24 acres in Rajakkmangalam salt factory in Neendakara village in Agastheeswaram Taluk in Kanyakumari District in the State of Tamil Nadu, in the said Rajakkamangalam salt factory shall be closed down for salt manufacture and that the licences relating to such closed salt works shall stand cancelled.
