Jute twist, Yarn, Thread etc. Notification No. 7/87-C.E. Dated 19-1-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 56/72-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1972, namely :- In the said notification, in the opening portion, for the figures and word "53 or 56", the figures and word "53, 56, 57 or 63" shall be substituted.
