Insertion of new hilly areas for purposes of section 33A(8) Notification Number: 0619(E) Dated 24-06-1988 In pursuance of sub-section (8) of section 33A of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Central Board of Direct Taxes No. S.O. 1526, dated 18th May, 1966, namely:- In the said notification, after Serial No. 19 and the entry relating thereto, the following Serial Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely:- "20. Pithoragarh, Almora and Nainital districts (Kumaon region) of Uttar Pradesh. 21. Dehradun, Chamoli, Uttarkashi, Pauri Garhwal and Tehri Garhwal districts (Garhwal region) of Uttar Pradesh."
