Ports for Coastal Trade [Notification No. 64/94-Cus. (N.T.), dated 21-11-1994 ] (As amended by Notification No. 2/96-Cus. (NT) dated 16/1/1996 ; Notification No. 26/96-Cus. (NT) dated 22/3/2006 ; ) In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the ports, specified in column (3) of the table below, situated in the State or, as the case may be, the Union Territory, specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said table to be coastal ports for carrying of trade in coastal goods with all ports in India : 6 [ Provided that port Pellet plant jetty at Shiroda is appointed to be coastal port for the purposes of carrying on of trade in iron ore pellets and its raw materials: Provided further that Bhogat port is appointed to be a coastal port for carrying on of coastal trade in crude petroleum: ] 8 [ Provided also that Vizinjham International Seaport and Muthalapozhi are appointed to be coastal port for the purposes of loading and unloading boulders for construction of breakwater by M/s Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Limited. ] 1 [ *** ] 2 [ Provided also that Dhamra Port is appointed to be coastal port for carrying on of trade in 4 [ all class of goods except containers, project imports, hazardous cargo and liquid cargo, but including carbon black feed stock and edible oil ]] 5 [ Provided also that Bhogat port is appointed to be coastal port for carrying on of coastal trade in crude petroleum:] TABLE S.No. State/Union Territory Ports 1.
