For the purpose of Section 10(15)(viii) of ITA 1961 the C.G. specifies Tax Free Municipal Bonds for an amount of rupees fifty crore during the financial year 2004-2005 NOTIFICATION NO. 111/2005, DATED 23-3-2005 S.O. 402(E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause ( vii ) of clause (15) of Section 10 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby specifies Tax Free Municipal Bonds for an amount of rupees fifty crores only to be issued by Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, Chennai, Tamilnadu during the financial year 2004-2005 for the purpose of said sub-clause: Provided that the benefit under the said sub-clause shall be admissible only if the holder of such bonds registers his or her name and the holding with the said Corporation.
