S.O.1246 DATED 17-4-1974 It is hereby notified for general information that on the recommendation of the Indian Council of Social Science Research, the prescribed authority for the purposes of clause ( iii ) of sub-section (1) of section 35 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, the approval granted to Centre for Regional Development Studies, Surat, upto 31-3-1974, vide Notification No. 281 (F. No. 203/20/71-ITA. 2) dated 27-9-1971, has been extended with effect from 1st April, 1974.
