Notifies that annuity deposits made or recovered during the year 1977-78, shall bear interest at the rate of 4-1/4 per cent. NOTIFICATION NO. G.S.R.707 DATED 21-5-1977 In pursuance of the provisions of section 280D of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (33 of 1961), the Central Government hereby notifies that annuity deposits made or recovered during the year 1977-78, shall bear interest at the rate of 4-1/4 per cent.
