Seeks to amend notification Nos. 52/2001-CE (NT) dated 29.6.2001, 54/2001-CE (NT) dated 29.6.2001 and 6/2002-CE (NT), dated 1.3.2002 in the specified manner - 008/2003 - Central Excise - Non Tariff

Seeks to amend notification Nos. 52/2001-CE (NT) dated 29.6.2001, 54/2001-CE (NT) dated 29.6.2001 and 6/2002-CE (NT), dated 1.3.2002 in the specified manner. NOTIFICATION NO. 08/2003-CE(N.T.) DATED 01/03/2003 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 11 of the CENVAT Credit Rules, 2002, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India, in the erstwhile Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table below, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely:- Table S.No. Notification No. and date Amendments (1) (2) (3) 1. 52/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 29th June, 2001 In the said notification, in paragraph 6, the following shall be added at the end, namely:- "and shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 31 st day of March, 2003". 2. 54/2001-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 29th June, 2001 In the said notification, in paragraph 6, the following shall be added at the end, namely:- "and shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 31 st day of March, 2003". 3. 6/2002-Central Excise (N.T.) dated the 1 st March 2002 In the said notification, after paragraph 6, the following shall be inserted, namely:- " 7. This notification shall remain in force upto and inclusive of the 31 st day of March, 2003.". [F.
