Signing of Host Country Agreement between India and International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for establishment of IFAD Country Office in India

The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of the Host Country Agreement (HCA) between India and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for establishing the IFAD Country Office in India.

The opening of IFAD`s Office in India would expedite co-ordination, facilitation and supervision by the IFAD team as well as best practices dissemination in India.
