The details of total amount of funds that are locked up in cases at various quasi-judicial, appellate and judicial forums under Service Tax and Central Excise put together as on dated 31.12.2019 are as follows:
The total number of settlements done under the Sabka Vishwas (Legacy Dispute Resolution Scheme, 2019) as on dated 05.02.2020 are 49,534 and amount involved in these cases is 24,970 crores. This was stated by Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister of State for Finance & Corporate Affairs, in a written reply to a question in Lok Sabha today. **** RM/KMN |
