Please help to clarify on below points..

I was in USA from Jan-13 to Jan-14 on H1B visa and was getting salary in USD in to USA Bank account. My Family was staying here in India and I used to transfer amount using different remittance service providers to my account in India or to my wife’s account .

I was getting Salary post TDS by employer and i I filed USA tax returns also last year.

And my company is planning to send me once again on the same project for next one year.

My Question:

1. Do I need to pay any TAX in India for the amount transferred through Remittance ?
2. Is it compulsory to have NRI account ?
3. Is there any advantage of having NRI account?
4. Let me know any pro and cons for this kind of transaction.
