Companies Unpaid Dividend (Transfer to General Revenue Account of the Central Government) Rules, 1978 [1] [Notification No. GSR 140, dated January 16, 1978] In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 642 read with sub-section (6) of section 205A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely: 01. Short title and commencement. (1) These Rules may be called the Companies Unpaid Dividend (Transfer to General Revenue Account of the Central Government) Rules, 1978.
