Amendment of section 7.
89. In the Customs Act, in section 7, in sub-section (1), after clause (d), the following clauses shall be inserted, namely:––
“(e) the post offices which alone shall be foreign post offices for the clearance of imported goods or export goods or any class of such goods;
(f) the places which alone shall be international courier terminals for the clearance of imported goods or export goods or any class of such goods.”.
Notes on Clauses:
Clause 89 of the Bill seeks to amend section 7 of the Customs Act so as to insert new clauses (e) and (f) in subsection (1) to provide for appointment of foreign post offices and international courier terminals.
