SECURITIES APPELLATE TRIBUNAL (SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES AND OTHER CONDITIONS OF SERVICE OF THE OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES) RULES, 1997 Notification : No. GSR 426(E), dated 28-7-1997. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 15-S read with clause (db) of sub-section (2) of section 29 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992 (15 of 1992), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules, namely :- Short title and commencement. 1. (1) These rules may be called the Securities Appellate Tribunal (Salaries and Allowances and Other Conditions of Service of the Officers and Employees) Rules, 1997. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
