Appointment of Compliance Officer 29 . (1) Every Index Provider shall appoint a compliance officer who shall be responsible for monitoring the compliance of the Act, rules and regulations, notifications, guidelines and circulars issued by the Board. (2) The compliance officer shall immediately and independently report to the Board any non-compliance observed by him as soon as possible, but not later than seven working days from the date of such non-compliance.
