In the matter before the Delhi High Court, presided over by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Najmi Waziri, the petitioner, an under trial prisoner in FIR No. 586/2018, sought interim bail due to medical conditions including diabetes mellitus type 2 and bronchial asthma. The petitioner has been in custody since October 2018, with satisfactory conduct and verified address in Delhi. He has no prior criminal record apart from the current case and cannot influence remaining official witnesses.

The Court granted interim bail for 45 days, subject to the petitioner furnishing a personal bond of Rs. 25,000 with a surety of the same amount. Conditions for bail include:

1. Informing the SHO/IO of his whereabouts via video call or SMS on alternate days.
2. Providing a contact number that remains reachable.
3. Not leaving the NCT of Delhi.
4. Avoiding contact with complainants or actions prejudicial to the prosecution.

The application was disposed of with these conditions, and the order does not adjudicate the merits of the case. The Registry was instructed to email the order to the Jail Superintendent for compliance and upload it on the website.
