Public Notice No. 246/2012 Dated 23-11-2012 In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 45(1) of the Customs Act, 1962 the premises of M/s. L T Shipbuilding Ltd, at Kattupalli Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District 600 120 is appointed as CUSTODIAN of imported goods landed at Minor Port, Kattupalli and received in their CFS at M/s. L T Shipbuilding Ltd, at Kattupalli Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District 600 120 in containers, until the goods are cleared for Home Consumption or warehoused or are transshipped in accordance with the provisions of Chapter VII of the Act, ibid. Similarly, M/s. L T Shipbuilding Ltd, Kattupalli will also be the CUSTODIAN of cargo brought into their premises for export till they are exported. M/s. L T Shipbuilding Ltd, at Kattupalli Village, Ponneri Taluk, Tiruvallur District 600 120, as the Custodian of the goods meant for export and import, would be required to comply with the provisions of Section 45(2) of the Customs Act, 1962 and HACCR, 2009 as well as rules and regulations and instructions issued from time to time on the subject mentioned above. This Public Notice shall come into effect from 26-11-2012.
