MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Economic Affairs) STOCK EXCHANGE SECTION NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 31st May, 1996 S.O. 381(E).- Securities and Exchange Board of India having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) read with Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulations), Rules, 1957 by Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Association Limited, Kanpur (herein referred to as 'the Exchange') and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in the public interest so to do, hereby grants recognition to the Exchange under Section 4 of the said Act for a further period of two years commencing on the 3rd day of June, 1996 and ending on the 2nd day of June, 1998 in respect of contracts insecurities.
