SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE BOARD OF INDIA NOTIFICATION Mumbai, the 18th May, 1998 S.O.416 (E).- Securities and Exchange Board of India, having considered the application for renewal of recognition made under Section 3 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956 (42 of 1956) read with Rule 7 of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) rules, 1957, by the Uttar Pradesh Stock Exchange Association Limited, Kanpur (herein referred to as the Exchange ) and in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the said Act, being satisfied that it would be in the interest of the trade and also in public interest so to do, hereby renews recognition to the Exchange under Section 4 of the said Act for a further period of three years commencing on the 03rd day of June, 1998 and ending on the 02nd day of June, 2001, in respect of contracts in securities.
