Amendment in the notification No. 17/2006-Central Excise (N.T) dated the 1 st August,2006 Central Excise Notification No.42/2008(N.T.) Dated 29 th September, 2008 G.S.R. (E) .- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with clause (b) of sub-rule (2) of rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 2002 , the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 17/2006-Central Excise (N.T) vide number G.S.R. 455 dated the 1 st August,2006 , namely:- In the said notification, in clause (i), the words "from account current" shall be omitted.
