Delegation of Power Notification No. 26/88-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 14-9-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of Section 2 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), read with Rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendments to the notification of the Government of India in the Central Board of Excise and Customs No. 215/86-Central Excises, dated the 27th March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) for the word "Directorate", wherever it occurs, the words "Directorate General", shall be substituted; (ii) In the TABLE in column (2) for the word "Director" occurring against serial No. 1, the words "Director-General" shall be substituted.
