Rescinds Notification No. 259/87 - Rule 56B Notification No. 8/88-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 1-3-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 37 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby rescinds the Central Excise (9th Amendment) Rules, 1987, published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 259/87-Central Excises [G.S.R. No. 966(E)], dated the 8th December, 1987.
