Amendment to Notification Nos. 133/86-C.E. and 53/88-C.E. [ Ch. 39] Notification No. 225/88-C.E. Dated 28-6-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE S. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 133/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986. (a) In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 14 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "15. 3909.51 Phenol formaldehyde resins Twenty-five per cent ad valorem "; (b) in the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the words and figures "the 30th day of June, 1988", the words and figures "the 31st day of December, 1988" shall be substituted. 2. No. 53/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988. In the Table annexed to the said notification, in S. No. 14, in column (2), the figures "3909.51", shall be omitted.
