Exemption to goods falling under Sub-heading 2809.00 Notification No. 219/88-C.E. Dated 22-6-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 119/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (a) against Sl. No. 3, in column (2), the figures "2809.00" shall be omitted; and (b) after Sl. No. 4 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "5. 2809.00 If - (a) used in the manufacture of fertilizers; and (b) such use is elsewhere than in the factory of production of such goods, the procedure set out in Chapter X of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, is followed."
